Jean Paul Brun is famed for his delicious Beaujolais with all the typicity that we expect. This wine is made from Jean Paul's oldest vines between 40 - 60 years old and fermented using only wild yeast. The wine is juicy with notes of black cherry, red flowers and an intense pepperiness

Gamay

Gamay is mostly known for producing the red wines of Beaujolais, but is also grown in other regions of France, particularly in the Loire where it makes Cote Roannaise, Touraine and the odd vineyard in the western Loire. Gamay's defining characteristic is its low tannins and high acidity together with its vibrant black cherry aromas. On the odd occasion, if planted in the right terroir and made with precision, the wines from this variety can age and develop for many years, but it is appealing when young and most wines, due to the low tannins, can be drunk cool.
