Roditis
Roditis is a white grape variety that is native to Greece. It is one of the most widely planted in that country, primarily grown in the Peloponnese region. The grape is known for producing light-bodied, dry wines with a crisp acidity and a distinct lemony flavor.
Roditis is often blended with other Greek grape varieties such as Assyrtiko and Moschofilero to produce wines with a more complex flavor profile. It is also sometimes used to produce sweet wines, as well as Retsina which is flavoured with pine resin.
