Rathfinny 2019 Classic Cuvee Sussex Sparkling

Rathfinny Estate is a relative newcomer to the English Sparkling Wine Scene, but they are already establishing themselves with some exceptionally high-quality wines with great pricing.

The Classic Cuvee Brut is a classic Champagne blend made of 50% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier, spending 30 months on lees and undergoing a complete malolactic fermentation.

We like this Cuvee, essentially their calling card, for its fruitiness and softness, having nothing of the austerity we find in other ESW. Bright and delicious with candied lemon notes.
