Granite & Gamay: Explore our range of Beaujolais and Maconnais wines from Pierre Ferraud
Pierre Ferraud has been making Beaujolais since 1882. Whilst they own some vineyards, they work mostly with growers with whom they have long-existing grape contracts, so a kind of hybrid grower/merchant. But, none of that really matters as what ends up in the glass is proper, authentic Beaujolais Villages and Cru Beaujolais that offer superb value for money. Their Crus all express their individual styles, but it is the Saint Amour Cuvee 130 Ans which stands out - this is quite possibly the best Beaujolais I have ever tasted, certainly the best that I can recall.
