Mercouri Estate 2018 Antares

We have two wines from the well-priced Mercouri Estate from Peloponnese. Their red is made from Avgoustiatis and Mourvedre. The wine is not disimilar to the reds found in Puglia from the Negroamaro variety. Floral and red fruit aromatics with a touch of spice. The palate is soften by some barrel ageing, but has all the local authenticity that we have been searching for Greek reds
