This case of Six Bottles Contains One of Each of These Six Wines
Castelnuovo del Garda 2020 Valpolicella Ripasso
Castelnuovo del Garda 2020 Valpolicella Ripasso
Ripasso is a hugely popular style of wine originating from Valpolicella. The wine's re-fermentation on the Amarone pomace adds depth and richness to the wine. Castelnuovo del Garda makes a brilliant version of this with notes of bright black cherry, forest fruits and just enough richness on the palate. Like Amarone, Ripasso can be enjoyed in its youth, and we rate this very highly, not only for its typicity and deliciousness but also its fantastic value for money.
La Guardiense 2022 Aglianico Sannio 'I Classici'
La Guardiense 2022 Aglianico Sannio 'I Classici'

La Guardienase is a leading co-operative in Campania, close to Benevento. The winery has some excellent vineyards in the Sannio denomination, named after the Samnites, a hardy tribe that fought off the onslaught of the Roman army for decades.

Rest assured, the wines from La Guardiense are not just any wines. They are expertly crafted by winemaker Marco Giulioli, renowned for his passion and dedication, and consultant Riccardo Cotarella, a master in the art of winemaking.

The Aglianico Sannio is aged mainly in steel tanks, with 20% aged in French oak. The wine is rich and full of deep plum, spice, and cherry notes. Aglianico is a classy variety that retains its characteristic vibrant acidity.

Monte Guelfo 2022 Chianti
Monte Guelfo 2022 Chianti

This is a brilliant value Chianti from the estates of Andrea Cecchi. Made from 90% Sangiovese and 10% Colorino. The wine does not see any oak, making it a vibrant & fresh expression of Sangiovese. Hints of black forest fruits, woodland berries, saddle leather and victoria plums. The Cecchi family has 125 years of winemaking history and have some excellent vineyards at their disposal. This is a must buy wine for the price

San Marzano 2022 Primitivo del Salento 'Il Pumo'
San Marzano 2022 Primitivo del Salento 'Il Pumo'

Primitivo is known for its rich body, deep black fruit and this is no exception. Flavours of prunes, black plums, black cherries with notes of vanilla and clove. A great value wine from a superb producer

Vallone 2020 Appassimento Special Selection
Vallone 2020 Appassimento Special Selection

Vallone is one of the pioneers of making Appassimento wines in Puglia having made one of the region's most prestigious wines 'Gratticiaia'. This is their new Appassimento, made solely from Negroamaro and it is absolutely delicious. The wine is rich and dense, but not at all heavy.
