Chateau d'Esclans 2019 Rock Angel Rose

Rock Angel is one of the top level rosés made by Chateau d'Esclans. This is made only from their own vineyards and is mostly Grenache and Vermentino. It is surprisingly subtle and elegant, not at all showy, as its label would suggest. A very complex wine that shows that rosé can be a fine wine too. It is partially aged in oak, but done in such a subtle way that it is barely noticeable, but in doing so it adds to the richness and complexity. This is way beyond regular rosé in style and quality.
