Penfold's

For more than 170 years, Penfold's has been at the forefront of Australian winemaking, further enhancing their reputation in the 1950s when they first produced the country's first blue-chip wine, Grange Hermitage, now known simply as 'Grange'. Nowadays there is a vast range of wines produced here, and you could be forgiven for getting lost with all the various Bins and vineyard names. Suffice to say that there is a 'house' style - a kind of richness and depth to the wine, certainly powerful, but most of all, quintessentially South Australian in style. They are the experts in this as they practically invented it.
