Nervi Conterno

Nervi is an historic estate in Alto Piemonte's Gattinara DOCG, the first estate in the region to bottle their own wine. With a total of 28 hectares (Gattinara itself is 93 hectares) of Nebbiolo it is still the most important estate in the region.

In 2018 the estate was purchased by Roberto Conterno, owner and winemaker of Giacomo Conterno, the revered Barolo producer. The estate is now known as Nervi Conterno. Prior to that Roberto had been consulting on the winemaking with the former owners. Roberto has certainly put his stamp on the wines with his hallmark uncompromising approach, attention to detail and lengthy macerations, creating wines of beauty and complexity
