Bouchon 2016 Vigno Carignan
Vigno is a project created by a small number of producers in Chile's Maule valley which preserves their heritage vines of Carignan. The vines are head pruned and dry grown, and are also very old. There is a purity to these wines, and Bouchon has a light touch in the winemaking which allows the sense of place to speak for itself. A rich wine, but not at all heavy.
