Avignonesi 2020 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano

Avignonesi is one of Vino Nobile's historic producers, and recently converted to full organic status. Always one of the most elegant wines from a region known for its powerful and tannic Sangioveses. The 2018 is a great vintage and its shows in the brightness of the fruit. Aromas of wild berries, earth and forest scents. With a bit of decanting the wine will develop well, but could really do with another year just to soften a little further.
